Hello to all our friends and supporters, as we are writing this the sun is shining, hopefully spring is not too far away.

We continue to be very busy rescuing and re-homing Persian cats across England and Wales. We are receiving many phone calls regarding house repossessions, a very sad time ahead for many people as we are not out of the credit crunch yet.

Since January we have been busier than ever, we have been receiving many calls for help and advice regarding Persian cats. The credit crunch has really hit, with people losing their homes and having to re-home their much loved Persian cats.

We have re-homed 6 Persians so far this year, they have all gone off to wonderful new homes . This is despite my having a knee replacement at the end of last year which is taking its time to recover properly.

Last year we successfully re-homed 59 Persians into lovely new homes, many of which have kept in touch on their progress. On the fundraising front we managed to raise enough funds to keep the rescue running, even though a lot of cats that come into us need veterinary treatment before being able to be re-homed.

A thank you to everyone who has supported us in any way, every penny helps and goes directly into the running of the rescue.

We are also very grateful to the people who have re-homed cats from us, as that give us the space to take in more Persians into the rescue.
